The trail, or boardwalk as it is commonly called, is a 7 km nature trail that travels the perimeter of the Pond and winds through tall stands of trees. You can observe wildlife in their natural environment and visit three lookouts that offer majestic views of Mount Peyton and Lewisporte Harbour. It provides a perfect year-round setting whether you are a canoer, sunbather, hiker, fisherman, camper or simply a nature lover. The campground is an excellent getaway to the boundless attractions available in Lewisporte and surrounding area.

The Town of Lewisporte has expanded camping services at Woolfrey’s Pond Trail & Campground. The expansion includes an additional 20 large semi-private serviced sites. In addition, we have expanded on our beach area to provide more space for you to relax and enjoy Central Newfoundland weather and give children more room to play.
